The Atlanta Braves have reached an agreement with relievers Ian Krol and Arodys Vizcaino on one-year contracts avoiding arbitration. Terms of the deal were not disclosed in the release.
Krol was initially cut during spring training last season but emerged as a valuable piece of Atlanta's bullpen. He appeared in a career-high 63 games and posted a 3.18 ERA.
Vizcaino began the season as Atlanta's closer converting 10 of his first 12 save opportunities. Two different stints on the disabled list and some control issues hampered him for the remainder of the season.
