Atlanta Braves agree to deal with second-round pick Lucas Herbert

The Atlanta Braves have an agreement in place with second-round selection Lucas Herbert according to a report by MLB.com's Jim Callis.

Herbert's deal with the Braves includes an at-slot bonus of $1,125,200. He was regarded as the best defensive catcher in the draft by many outlets and was committed to attend UCLA. Herbert was taken with the 54th pick overall and is the highest Braves pick to sign so far.
