The Atlanta Braves made a trio of roster moves on Friday adding pitchers Max Fried and Lucas Sims to the team's 40-man roster in advance of the Rule 5 eligibility deadline. Utility infielder Johan Camargo also made the cut.
Fried has been climbing the team's prospect rankings after being acquired from San Diego as part of the Justin Upton trade. He underwent Tommy John surgery in 2014 and missed nearly two full seasons rehabbing the injury. Fried returned to form in 2016 while posting a 3.93 ERA in 103 innings for Rome.
