Atlanta Braves Add AA Outfielder

The Mississippi Braves Twitter account announced tonight that the Braves acquired a new outfielder from the Pirates.

OF Mel Rojas, Jr., has been acquired by the Braves from the Pittsburgh Pirates for cash considerations and assigned to Double-A #MBraves

Mel Rojas Jr. is a 6’3 200 pound switch hitting outfielder and the son of former big league closer Mel Rojas who spent time with the Expos, Cubs, Mets Dodgers and Detroit before retiring in 1999 at the age of 32 (who’d have thought that huh?
