Two lanes of I-75 just outside Atlanta were blocked on Wednesday morning after a truck carrying thousands of Braves foam tomahawks dropped some of its cargo on the road, causing significant delays.
The tomahawks, like the one shown here held by a small child, were destined for SunTrust Park before falling out and onto the road.
The incident comes weeks after a five-lane section of I-85 collapsed during rush hour. In a day and age where everyone records things instantly, it’s stunning we do not have photos of the road covered in foam novelties.
