I know this may come as a shock to some of you, but Andrelton Simmons has won another award for defensive excellence
As we covered in our positional reviews, Andrelton Simmons is a special talent at shortstop.. While his bat hasn't always kept up with is glove, that may be due to the fact that his glove (and arm) are just so good. He is likely to be the favorite for the Gold Glove at SS this year and is certain to be in the running for various defensive player of the year awards. As a result, its not surprising that those awards are starting to roll in.
