Davidson burst onto the scene with a strong spring training where he allowed one run over 6 1⁄3 innings and fans have been clamoring for him since as the rotation on the big league club fell to shambles. The Braves finally rewarded his work and progression by giving him a spot start late in the season to dip his toes into the major leagues and see what he’s got going into the offseason.
