ATLANTA -- After Sean Newcomb was once again frustrated by the Brewers' offense, the Braves overcame an ugly pitching performance and claimed a much-needed series victory by doing something they had accomplished just twice since relocating to Atlanta.
Dansby Swanson delivered a game-tying home run and Ozzie Albies' seventh-inning leadoff shot proved decisive for the Braves as they claimed an 8-7 win over the Brewers on Sunday afternoon at SunTrust Park.
Newcomb surrendered a season-high 12 hits over just four innings and the Braves surrendered a season-high 19 hits to a Brewers squad that had combined for just 13 hits in the first two games of this series.
