Albies' grand slam caps 6-run sixth, lifts Braves

ATLANTA -- As Freddie Freeman has continued to consistently provide MVP-caliber production, the Braves have been waiting for Ozzie Albies to end his maddening slump and once again deliver big blows like the one he manufactured during the six-run sixth inning of Tuesday night's 8-2 win over the Mets at SunTrust Park.

Freeman opened the uprising with a leadoff homer against Zack Wheeler and Albies capped the big inning by greeting Paul Sewald with a grand slam. The Braves' 21-year-old second baseman also hit one on May 10 in Miami.
