Adonis Garcia has signed with the LG Twins of the Korean Baseball League, according to a report.
There were rumors a few days ago that Garcia would be heading to the KBO. If a deal has indeed been reached, it seems likely the Braves would have no problem letting him out of his current obligations.
Garcia joined the Braves in 2015 and spent most of the 2016 season as the club’s starting third baseman. He hit .267/.300/.414 (89 wRC+) across 944 plate appearances and posted a 1.3 WAR. He missed a majority of the 2017 season after undergoing finger surgery in June.
