Add Adonis Garcia to the list of Braves players that are nursing minor ailments. Garcia left Saturday’s game after just an inning due to soreness in his left hamstring.
Garcia grounded out in the first and was running hard down the line. He stayed in and played defense in the bottom half of the inning but was lifted to start the second. Braves manager Brian Snitker told MLB.com’s Mark Bowman that the team is playing it safe with Garcia and don’t want the hamstring issue to turn into something more serious.
"He was running pretty hard on that ground ball; It's just one of those things where it's better to be safe than sorry," Braves manager Brian Snitker said.
