The Atlanta Braves have reportedly discussed with Adonis Garcia a possible agreement for his release after it was reported earlier this week that Garcia had come to an agreement with a team in the Korean Baseball Organization.
Garcia was signed by the Braves after being released by the Yankees and debuted for the Braves at third base in May of 2015. During his time with the Braves, Garcia moved back and forth between Atlanta and AAA Gwinnett and was impressive at times.
Garcia was Atlanta’s opening day starter in both 2016 and 2017 but was sidelined early on last season after a ring finger sprain turned into a surgery that effectively ended his season.
