The Atlanta Braves entered Saturday determined to not let another game slip from their fingers. Atlanta’s bullpen cost the team another win on Friday, as closer Jim Johnson allowed two runs in the 9th inning for a blown save and Jose Ramirez allowed a walk-off solo home run to Devin Mesoraco in the 10th inning.
Atlanta sent R.A. Dickey to the mound on Saturday to face 34-year-old RHP Scott Feldman, who like Dickey entered Saturday’s game with an ERA over 4.00.
Dickey allowed a solo home run to former Braves prospect Jose Peraza in the 4th inning to put the score at 1-0 Reds.
