Well-traveled relief pitcher Craig Kimbrel is returning to the site of his greatest achievements.
The 15-year veteran has agreed to a minor league deal with the Atlanta Braves, the team with which he spent the first five years of his MLB career and led the National League in saves for four consecutive seasons.
The deal, worth $2 million if he makes the Braves roster, was reported by multiple media outlets but has not yet been confirmed by the team.
Kimbrel, 36, is a nine-time All-Star, with four of those appearances coming during his first stint with Atlanta.
