The Atlanta Braves did not reach the World Series in 2024 despite high expectations. They could be losing a key player in free agency before they try and get back on track for 2025.
While listing top landing spots for Braves starter Max Fried, Bleacher Report's Zachary D. Rymer listed the New York Yankees as a potential team that could steal Fried away from Atlanta.
"The Yankees have checked in on Fried, according to Jon Heyman of The New York Post," wrote Rymer. "He'll be an especially sensible target if they can't re-sign Juan Soto, which is a realistic scenario.
