Wolves look to be ahead of Aston Villa in the race for West Ham defender Craig Dawson and have offered £5.25million for the 32-year-old.
Dawson is yet to feature for the Hammers in the current campaign after picking up a thigh injury in pre-season, but is nearing a return to fitness.
Bruno Lage is keen to sign a centre-back on deadline day to compete with Nathan Collins and Max Kilman for a starting spot.

Conor Coady joined Everton on loan last month, while Willy Boly refused to play against Newcastle last weekend as he attempts to push through a move to Nottingham Forest.
