England defender Tyrone Mings is offering free places at his football academy to children of NHS staff.
The Tyrone Mings Academy, which operates in the Bristol and Birmingham areas, hopes to resume when it is safe to do so, and the Aston Villa player has stepped in to ensure the sons and daughters of key workers will not be charged for at least one six-week term.
Mings said: ‘As a footballer, I’m just sitting here waiting for it all to blow over, but there are a lot of people out there doing a lot more important work than I am.
