Tottenham have made an improved offer for Juventus midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur.
Antonio Conte is eager to strengthen his team's options before the transfer window closes and rates the 24-year-old highly.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Tottenham's bid for Bentancur is higher than the offer that Aston Villa made for him.

Villa offered around £20million (€25million) plus add-ons for the Uruguay midfielder. The deal would have been a loan move with the option for a permanent purchase.
Tottenham previously offered to take Bentancur on loan but were knocked back by Juventus.
