Tyrone Mings believes the majority of Premier League players now feel safe to return to action despite their misgivings early in the coronavirus pandemic.
Top-flight clubs are back in full contact training and working towards a resumption later this month, with Mings’ Aston Villa side taking on Sheffield United on June 17 in one of the first games of the restart.
Mings, the England defender, said last week that the league’s return was being driven by financial concerns but he is confident most players are happy to follow the Project Restart protocols to ensure the season is completed behind closed doors.
