Steven Gerrard could be set to become the new manager of Turkish side Trabzospor after reports suggest he had 'flown to Istanbul to hold talks' with representatives from the club.
The Liverpool legend has been spending some time away from management, after he was sacked by Aston Villa back in October, following a poor run of league form that saw his side win just two of their opening 11 league matches this season.
But according to Turkish news outlet Karar, the 42-year-old, who has now managed in the Scottish Premiership and the Premier League, flew to Turkey to have dinner with the club's current Vice President, Ertugrul Dogan.
