Southampton have confirmed the signing of Cameron Archer from Aston Villa on a four-year deal.
The transfer means the 22-year-old joins his third club of the summer, having ended last season with Sheffield United.
He joined the Blades from Villa in the summer of 2023 but returned to Villa Park due to a clause in his contract.
Archer rejoined Villa in June following Sheffield United's relegation to the Championship and featured heavily for Unai Emery's team during pre-season.
However, he now departs for Southampton, as the Saints confirmed on their website: 'The talented young forward, 22, arrives at St Mary's to boost Russell Martin's attacking options on the dawn of the 2024-25 Premier League campaign.
