Sheffield United have agreed a deal with Manchester United to keep goalkeeper Dean Henderson on loan until the end of the season.
Henderson has impressed at Bramall Lane as Chris Wilder’s team have emerged as unlikely contenders for a Champions League place.
The Blades will leap above Manchester United into fifth if they win at Aston Villa, on Wednesday, in the first Premier League fixture since a three-month suspension of the season for the coronavirus pandemic.
Henderson has yet to sign an extension to the original loan which will expire on June 30 and there are details still to finalise.
