Goals from John McGinn and Scott McTominay handed Scotland a comfortable 3-0 win over Cyprus on Saturday, as the hosts carved out a winning start to their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign.
Steve Cooper's side started strongly, taking the lead through McGinn in the 21st minute after the Aston Villa star tapped home Stuart Armstrong's pinpoint cross, and sealed the victory late on through McTominay, who netted a quickfire double in the closing stages.
The Manchester United man netted his first in the 87th minute, coolly slotting the ball home with a well-taken finish, before firing again in the third minute of injury time.
