QPR 0-1 Aston Villa: Jonathan Kodjia atones for early penalty miss to give seal victory

Jonathan Kodjia atoned for his first-half penalty miss to hand Aston Villa only their second win on the road this season against QPR.

The 27-year-old beat Alex Smithies at his near post in the 75th minute to break the deadlock and seal a much-needed win for Steve Bruce's side.

The former Birstol City man had earlier missed the chance to put his side in front when his effort from 12 yards was saved by the QPR goalkeeper.
