Morgan Gibbs-White will link up with his Nottingham Forest team-mates on Monday after being handed an extended break for his England heroics.
The playmaker is absent from Forest's pre-season training camp in Spain this week following his international achievements.
Gibbs-White was part of the England Under-21 squad who became European champions earlier this month and was one of the players of the tournament.
Eyebrows were raised a year ago when Forest paid Wolves £25million up front for Gibbs-White, who had never been a Premier League regular, following a successful season on loan in the Championship with Sheffield United.
