Crystal Palace are reportedly close to re-signing Nathaniel Clyne on a free transfer following the defender's release from Liverpool over the summer.
Clyne has been training with the Eagles over the past month to try and restore his fitness after missing the whole of last season with cruciate knee ligament damage suffered in a pre-season friendly against Borussia Dortmund.
According to The Athletic, the right-back has impressed Palace boss Roy Hodgson enough to be on the verge of signing a deal until the end of January having featured in a recent Under 23s fixture against Aston Villa - his first game in 15 months.
