Mohamed Salah 'wants to stay at Liverpool' despite Al-Ittihad interest says Reds midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai

Mo Salah wants to stay at Liverpool, according to new Reds midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.

Liverpool’s star man Salah is the subject of a relentless pursuit by Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad, who had an eye-watering £150million bid rejected for the 31-year-old last week. The big spenders then warned they were willing to go to £200m.

But Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool have long insisted Salah is not for sale — and Szoboszlai and Klopp moved to allay lingering fears after Aston Villa were beaten at Anfield yesterday.

‘He wants to stay here,’ said Szoboszlai, who hit Liverpool’s first before an own goal and a Salah strike.
