Steve Cooper is poised to strengthen his Leicester squad with the £20million capture of Bilal El Khannouss from Belgian club Genk.
The Moroccan international was set to sign for the Foxes on Wednesday and could make his debut in the meeting with Aston Villa at King Power Stadium on Saturday.
Mail Sport understands El Khannouss turned down interest from Champions League clubs to join Leicester.
The 20-year-old is part of an exciting generation of Moroccan players who won bronze at this summer’s Olympics.
Leicester have already signed Oliver Skipp and Jordan Ayew since the start of the campaign and after El Khannouss, they are keen to add another forward to their ranks.
