Leicester owner Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha is flying to the UK this week to oversee the process of appointing Brendan Rodgers’ replacement.
Rodgers was informed his four-year reign would end at a meeting at the club’s plush £90million training headquarters on Sunday morning, following Leicester’s dire display in losing 2-1 at Crystal Palace.
Sportsmail was first to indicate on its social media channels that Rodgers was on borrowed time and an announcement was made at about 1.30pm.
Now Srivaddhanaprabha, known as Khun Top, is on his way to Leicester and may attend Tuesday’s home clash with Aston Villa, with first-team coach Adam Sadler and goalkeeping coach Mike Stowell in interim charge.
