Aston Villa goalkeeper Pepe Reina believes he has contracted the coronavirus after displaying symptoms of the disease.
The former Liverpool star is currently self-isolating like many Premier League players but admitted he 'went through the bug' last week, although he has not been officially diagnosed with the illness.
Anyone showing symptoms is advised to stay at home and not call the NHS 111 number unless their situation gets much worse. Reina said he was now taking steps to ensure he doesn't infect others.
He said 'everything pointed' to him having the disease but insisted that he was in a fortunate position of having a larger house where he can keep the virus at bay.
