Joleon Lescott has agreed a two-year contract with Greek Superleague club AEK Athens.
The 34-year-old defender leaves Aston Villa on a free transfer after Roberto Di Matteo made it clear he would not be including Lescott in his plans this season.
Lescott also had an offer from Pescara but the Italians were only prepared to offer the defender a one-year contract.
The former England international had also been linked with a move to Rangers, which fell through following talks with Gers boss Mark Warburton.
