John Terry is ready to manage in his own right and is the latest high-profile candidate to express interest in the vacant Bristol City post.
The former England captain, who is currently assistant to Dean Smith at Aston Villa, has made no secret of wanting to branch out and is attracted to the potential of Bristol City, who parted company with Lee Johnson last week.
Terry, however, is not alone in being excited about the idea of moving to Ashton Gate and Phil Neville, who will leave his post as England's women manager as soon as the FA find a replacement, is also eager to be considered after initial contact with the Championship club.
