John McGinn has committed his future to Aston Villa after signing a new long-term contract that will keep him at the club until 2027.
The Scotland international joined Villa from Hibernian in 2018 and quickly established himself as a fan favourite under then-manager Steve Bruce.
His rise through the ranks at Villa Park have led to McGinn becoming a regular in the team and Unai Emery's arrival midway through last season has convinced the midfielder to extend his stay.
The 28-year-old's previous deal was set to expire in two years but will now remain as a Villa player for the next four seasons as the club strive to build on recent impressive campaigns.
