Aston Villa look set to sign Jack Harrison from Championship side Leeds United on a season-long loan deal after hijacking Everton's move for the winger.
Harrison, 26, had a medical at Everton on Sunday before Villa made a move.
Villa now have an agreement in place to sign the Englishman.
Harrison joined Leeds in 2021 for £11m from Manchester City, having been on loan at the club since 2018, and has scored 34 goals in 206 games.
Although Villa have an agreement in place to sign him, Harrison has a hip injury and is not set to return to action for at least a month, which may yet be a stumbling block to the deal being completed.
