Former England Women's striker Eni Aluko has given a special thanks to John Terry after being named sporting director of Aston Villa Women.
Aluko, 32, recently announced her retirement from playing, but is back working in football again after becoming Villa Women's first-ever sporting director.
The former player, who earned 102 caps for England over the course of her career said: 'I'm very excited to transition into a Sporting Director role.
'I feel it's something that I'm ready for at this point in my career.
