Leicester City appear to have moved one step closer to appointing their next manager after Jesse Marsch was ruled out of the running on Sunday.
The Foxes made the decision to sack Brendan Rodgers as they slumped ever closer to the Premier League's relegation zone following a recent defeat at Selhurst Park.
Their already precarious league position then worsened after losing 1-0 to Bournemouth on Sunday and dropping into the drop zone, two points adrift of safety.
Now the Premier League outfit are reportedly considering appointing former Aston Villa and Norwich City boss Dean Smith on a deal until the end of the season, according to The Athletic.
