England Under-21 went top of Group G for Euro 2023 qualification after beating Czech Republic Under 21 2-1 at Stadion Strelecky Ostrov.
The Young Lions started the game brightly and took the lead after 22 minutes thanks to Emile Smith Rowe's thumping strike, seconds after Curtis Jones' effort was saved.
Lee Carsley's side came out of the blocks fast after the break and doubled their lead through Aston Villa's Jacob Ramsey, who guided the ball into an empty net from close-range. The hosts pulled one back three minutes from time as Daniel Fila's stunning strike produced a nervy ending for England.
