Aston Villa want to bring in Bournemouth playmaker David Brooks before the end of the January transfer window, according to reports.
Brooks has scored five times and provided three assists during the Cherries' promotion push from the Championship following their relegation from the Premier league last season.
That form has caught the eye of Villa boss Dean Smith as he looks to continue his £200million investment in the squad since their promotion in 2019, according to the Mirror.
Former Manchester City midfielder Brooks had been sidelined by a long-term injury but has played a prominent part in high-flying Bournemouth's success so far this season.
