Jack Grealish has raised over £55,000 for the NHS after raffling off his match-worn shirt from Aston Villa's controversial clash with rivals Birmingham last season.
The Villa captain struck the only goal in the Second City derby last March – moments after he was attacked on the pitch by a Birmingham fan at St Andrew’s – in one of the most notorious games of the 2018-19 Championship campaign, which Villa ended with promotion through the play-offs.
A man was subsequently jailed for 14 weeks for the attack on Grealish in that match, with the Villa captain responding to the incident by sealing a famous victory for this team.
