Jack Grealish has offered up the shirt he wore when he was assaulted by a Birmingham fan before scoring Aston Villa’s winner to raise money for the NHS.
The Villa captain struck the only goal in the Second City derby last March – moments after he was attacked on the pitch at St Andrew’s – in one of the most notorious games of the 2018-19 Championship campaign, which Villa ended with promotion through the play-offs.
Fans who donate a minimum of £10 will have the chance to secure the shirt, with Grealish to choose the winner on Sunday on his social media channels.
