Had Aston Villa valued Marc Albrighton higher, he could well have been getting booed off the pitch in the Championship on Wednesday night.
As it was Albrighton, released on a free in 2014, was scoring Leicester's first ever goal in the Champions League in the latest episode of the winger proving how wrong Villa were.
On the same evening, his former aide conceded a late equaliser to Brentford to slip to 17th in England's second tier and draw the ire of home supporters.

Albrighton, a Villa fan from childhood who has been known to still attend games, got some mixed messages upon checking his phone in the dressing room.
