Aston Villa goalkeeper Lovre Kalinic is set to leave on loan this week with French club Toulouse and Belgian side Genk among the interested parties.
Kalinic was signed by Villa in a £6million deal from Gent in December 2018 but was dropped by manager Dean Smith after only eight matches and hasn't played since February.
The arrival of Pepe Reina to cover for injured No1 Tom Heaton is understood to be the final straw for the 29-year-old Croatia international who needs regular games to be ready for Euro 2020.
Smith has repeatedly stated he wants to have a goalkeeper with established Premier League experience, something the 6ft7ins Kalinic lacks.
