Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish makes long-awaited return to training after alarming run of one win and two goals for his side during talisman's six-week absence with leg injury

Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish returned to training on Monday following six weeks out with a leg injury.

The 25-year-old has been absent for his side since suffering an injury before Villa's 2-1 defeat by Leicester City on February 21.

Their talisman returning will be welcome news to Villa, who have won just once and scored two goals in six games during that time.

The talisman suffered a leg injury in February and has missed the club's last six games

The club's official account tweeted: 'Our captain, Jack Grealish, returned to first-team training at Bodymoor Heath on Monday' alongside a video of him back out on the grass with his team-mates once again.
