Aston Villa announce appointment of Steve Round as Technical Director

Aston Villa have appointed Steve Round as their new Technical Director.

Highly regarded, Round has had a career in football spanning 26 years, having previously worked for England, Manchester United, Manchester City football services, Everton, Newcastle United, Middlesbrough and Derby County.

Round will be tasked with helping Villa deal better in the transfer market and is part of their ambitious plans for the future, including a revamp of the club's scouting system.
