Aston Villa striker Wesley Moraes has agreed to join Stoke City on a permanent deal despite interest from Championship rivals Watford.
The Brazilian has put pen to paper on a one-year contract with the Potters, becoming their ninth addition of the summer window.
The 26-year-old failed to impress at Villa Park after arriving from Club Brugge in 2019 as the Belgian side's top marksmen in the previous season.
Wesley made 26 appearances for Villa across two seasons, scoring six goals in all competitions before spending the last two years away on loan.
