Aston Villa 3-0 Rotherham: Rudy Gestede double and Jack Grealish secure first win of the season

Rudy Gestede scored twice and Jack Grealish struck to hand Aston Villa all three points as they finally got off the mark in the Championship.

Defeat to Sheffield Wednesday, was followed by a poor performance in the EFL Cup, losing 3-1 to Luton Town in midweek.

Gestede got on the end of a Aly Cissokho cross to head in the opener and just before half-time grabbed his second from home debutant Ross McCormack's pass and the goalscorer became provider when he set up Grealish for a late third.
