Henri Lansbury's smart finish with the outside of his right-boot rescued a point for Nottingham Forest at Aston Villa - just when the home side believed Rudy Gestede's 74th minute effort had sealed the three points.
In the exuberant celebrations that followed Lansbury's 87th minute match-saving strike Forest's Hildeberto Pereira received a second yellow card for jumping into the euphoric 3,000 strong travelling support.
Substitute Gestede had been on the pitch for only nine minutes when he spun and crashed beyond Forest No 1 Vladimir Stokjovic for his side's second goal in quick succession.
Villa's £14m man Ross McCormack had struck with 19 minutes left to play to equalise Apostolos Vellios' earlier vicious, swerving 25-yard strike
The home team had enjoyed the lion's share of possession and chances before Greek striker Velios picked up possession - in far too much space - 12 minutes into the second-half.
