Aston Villa moved level on points with 10th place Chelsea in the Premier League standings after securing their first home league victory of the season in a 2-1 thriller at Villa Park.
Leon Bailey opened the scoring just three minutes into the game as Aston Villa broke forwards off the back of a Leeds corner and rounding off a well-worked move that saw the Jamaican's curling effort find a way past the Leeds goalkeeper.
The visitors fought hard to create chances and control large spells of the remainder of the first-half but couldn't capitalise on good chances as Villa's World Cup winning goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez produced several stunning saves.
