Despite missing two first-half penalties, we booked our place in the fifth round of the Women’s FA Cup with a convincing win over Yeovil Town at Weston-Super-Mare FC.
Danielle Carter and Beth Mead had failed to capitalise from the spot, but the latter went on to find the net from open play, with Jordan Nobbs’ strike and Hannah Miles’ own goal securing our progression to the last 16.
Just as we did against Reading last weekend, we started the game on the front foot - and this time we made our dominance count.
It only took Nobbs 10 minutes to break the deadlock, thanks to good work by Heather O’Reilly on the left-hand side.
