The powers that be at Arsenal were burning the candle at both ends on Deadline Day in order to secure the marquee signing of Thomas Partey, and now technical director Edu has revealed the personnel who made the deal happen.
Partey was signed from Atletico Madrid at the eleventh hour after Arsenal directly triggered his £45million release clause to conclude an immediate deal, with the Ghana star set to arrive in north London after the international break.
And, after finally getting the deal sewed up in time, Edu took to social media to post an image of those involved for supporters to see the inner workings of the Gunners' transfer procedure.
